Reviews
We got an appointment very quickly for the next day, unlike other vets. My friend's cat was constantly going to the litter box, which already made us suspect something was wrong, especially with the small urine stains with blood on the floor. If we had come a week later, he would have needed surgery. She was very friendly, however, until we saw the bill. She had mentioned that it would be more expensive than usual, but charging for a consultation is outrageous, especially since it wasn't a consultation at all, just information.
We sadly had to have our dog put down after 16 years. 1. We were rescheduled for four hours because something came up for the vet, which made the wait even more unpleasant. 2. In this awful situation, she also accused us of not having taken our dog to the vet sooner, which unfortunately was no longer possible. The vet couldn't accept this and started arguing. 3. While she was administering the anesthetic, our dog began to tense up extremely. The vet panicked and quickly gave her the injection to put her to sleep. Afterwards, I asked the vet why she was so tense. She simply blamed me, saying it was our fault because we had panicked our dog. 4. She had to drive almost 17 km to our home and charged us €200, partly because of the "long" journey. She tried to convince us that our dog had peacefully fallen asleep, but unfortunately, she definitely hadn't.
We've been seeing Dr. Knorre for several weeks now, after our dog was unfortunately diagnosed with multiple tumors. From the very beginning, we felt incredibly well cared for there – both medically and personally. The diagnosis was, of course, a shock, but the way Dr. Knorre handled it – calmly, understandingly, and with so much heart – helped us immensely to cope. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly; no question was too much trouble. Especially in such a stressful situation, that makes a huge difference. We'd also like to particularly emphasize how she treated us during the surgery: Not only was our dog exceptionally well cared for, but we, as his owners, were too. Dr. Knorre addressed our anxieties, responded with great empathy, and made us feel that we and our dog were in the best possible hands. This warmth and care are sadly no longer a given these days. Our dog is not only treated competently, but also with love – and it shows. We can tell. Many, many thanks to the entire team – for their expertise, but above all for their compassion and humanity!
I went to the vet's office for the first time today. My cat has fleas. I have to say, while other vets told me to wait until next week for an appointment, this vet told me to come in right away, since I also have a toddler at home. She was very kind and friendly. I was very pleased with her work; she took the time to explain things to me, including how to apply the treatments. I've decided to continue going to this practice because I felt very comfortable there. 🙂
