Absolutely not recommended! This has nothing to do with animal love! Our dog suddenly became very ill one Wednesday evening. At first, we thought she was going to vomit, but she didn't. Instead, she couldn't stand, collapsed, and was trembling. It "only" lasted 10-15 seconds, but we were very alarmed because she'd never experienced anything like this before (she's 13 years old). So we immediately googled it, and of course, all the vets in the area were closed. Except for the one in Neunkirchen... naturally, we called right away and briefly described the problem. It was 6:50 p.m. (they close at 7 p.m.). We didn't even say we wanted to come in. We just wanted some advice! The woman on the phone was very unfriendly and showed absolutely no interest in the dog (we were shocked!), instead focusing on where we lived and which vet we usually went to. The response was, "Hmm, well, I'll be gone in five minutes, and it'll probably take you longer to get here." It was as if she wanted to punish us (and our dog) for going to a different vet. What was that all about?! And we were on vacation from Dresden or somewhere else and needed an unplanned vet visit? I seriously wonder why this woman does this job. She didn't give a single thought to what was wrong with the dog. How heartless can you be? But don't worry, we'll never call again.

Many thanks to the entire team and the veterinarian! Our little hamster received truly wonderful care. First at the emergency clinic and then the next morning with an appointment. We are so happy that you do such a great job!

I already had a bad impression of this practice from previous "attempts" (once as an emergency, only to be informed after wasting time in the waiting room with a patient in acute pain that the X-ray machine wasn't working that day anyway; another time on a Saturday to save myself the long trip to the veterinary clinic for "just" a stray grain husk, but we weren't regular patients...). Today, they refused to give me a tick collar (!!) without a prior initial assessment and examination of my dog, a collar which, as I now know, I can easily order from Amazon or buy without a prescription at the pharmacy.
