Even though the reason was an emergency on a Sunday, it was a very pleasant experience. Professionally competent and at the same time empathetic towards the shy and anxious patient. Accessibility is also very good: Check the map beforehand, as some navigation devices don't recognize the house number. Here on Maps, the information is correct. Parking is right in front of the door. And beautifully situated in the woods – you can also take a walk. Another plus: There's an emergency bag hanging at the entrance in case you need to help yourself outside of office hours.
We take our two cats to Dr. Holz and are very, very satisfied. He has excellent rapport with both people and animals. Everything is explained clearly, and he gives good advice regarding costs – you don't get ripped off. Appointments are also available very quickly.
Dr. Holz has now saved my Shih Tzu's life for the second time. On September 6, 2025, my "Fussel" was bitten on the head and critically injured by a Mastiv (a very burly and heavy dog that seemed to appear out of nowhere) without any warning signs. Dr. Holz was the one who initiated all the necessary steps. His calm and empathetic manner always gives me the feeling that there is a way out (as long as there is one). I highly recommend Dr. Holz, give him 5 stars, and many more besides.
