After a long illness, we decided today, August 15, 2025, to euthanize our 12-year-old pit bull. Mr. Zabel came to our home to place her in her familiar surroundings. The vet examined her beforehand and told us that she was having trouble breathing and that euthanasia was the right decision. Mr. Zabel listened carefully to everything our dog had been through. He explained each step of the procedure to us, was very understanding, and extremely empathetic.
A very empathetic veterinarian with excellent and easy-to-understand advice. You feel taken seriously and well cared for, both as an animal and as its owner. We felt well looked after at all times. Highly recommended!
One star is too much! This vet is not recommended in my opinion. Our dog almost died due to a misdiagnosis – supposedly an inflammation. No, it wasn't just an inflammation; it was a close call! Not recommended!
