Last Friday evening, I called to ask if I could bring my cat in, as she wasn't feeling well. We arrived at the clinic around 6:30 pm. Because the clinic was very busy, the appointment didn't start until after 8 pm. The examination room smelled strongly of animal and wasn't clean. The appointment itself lasted about 10 minutes, during which they only took her temperature and checked her weight. I held my cat and weighed her myself. My cat isn't fond of vets, but she cooperated very well nonetheless. They charged me 2.5 times the standard fee, which I don't understand since there were no special circumstances. We didn't receive a diagnosis, only a painkiller to give her at home. I also wish they had informed me beforehand on the phone that the clinic was very busy and that we would have to wait longer. I felt very rushed and didn't receive a diagnosis. ... Edit: After consulting with my regular vet, the factor of 2.5 is unjustified, and the pain medication was also far too high a dose. Since my cat didn't tolerate it, I didn't continue giving it to her. According to my regular vet, I probably would have killed her if I had given it as instructed. I also emailed the practice for clarification, but received no response!

As an expat I wasn’t expecting to find any vet with proper command of English in this neck of the woods, but I’ve landed here and got the perfect treatment for my pug with extraordinary communication with the team. Dr. Rebecca’s love for animals is unprecedented and many older vets could learn a ton in terms of empathy from her. Highly recommended and we’re eternally grateful!

We took our middle-aged rescue dog to the vet because he was lethargic and had gastrointestinal issues. Blood tests revealed dangerously low kidney values, and immediate action was taken, along with providing our family with emotional support. When we called for help, someone was at our home almost instantly to discuss his condition and chances of recovery in a very personal yet clear manner. I was even allowed to stay with our anxious dog during the two subsequent IV infusions, and the support was incredibly personal, kind, understanding, honest, and, of course, professional. Our dog is already feeling much better, and there's now a chance we'll be able to spend some, or even more, time with him! Thank you!
