My house cat was euthanized at Dr. Schatt's veterinary practice. She was 13 years old, and it was my first time at Dr. Schatt's. It was an emergency, so I chose the quickest route. I was able to come in immediately. Even before calling the practice, I knew that my cat would have to be put down or suffer for several more hours... So I was prepared for that, and unfortunately, that's what happened. But the vet explained everything to me in detail, outlined her steps, and gave me the necessary time. I'm grateful for her calm manner and for giving me time to say goodbye and grieve.
