I am deeply disappointed with my previous veterinarian. We had taken our dog there several times in the past due to acute problems – you could almost say we were regulars. That makes the way we were treated today all the more incomprehensible to me. I had called the practice because I suspected a uterine infection – a potentially life-threatening emergency where every hour counts. But instead of receiving help or at least a quick assessment, I was simply turned away: "We don't have time today. Please find another practice or go to the animal hospital." Luckily, I found another veterinarian I had never been to before. There, I was immediately taken seriously, and we were given an appointment right away. The veterinarian also expressed her incomprehension that we had been simply turned away previously. What has also been bothering me for some time is that at Dr. Thomasmeyer's previous practice, I often had the feeling that the animal's well-being was not the priority, but rather financial interests. I found the veterinary assistants particularly lacking in empathy – instead, everything seemed routine, cold, and profit-driven. I find it absolutely irresponsible to treat long-term clients and their animals this way – especially in a potential emergency. We've decided: We will not be using this practice again.

My dog ​​is a real scaredy-cat, having had bad experiences at the vet as a puppy, and he's also generally a sensitive soul. I've never experienced a veterinary practice that caters to the animal's needs so much. Normally, I feel bad when my dog ​​won't sit or lie still on the examination table and is therefore difficult to treat. Here, neither I nor the dog are made to feel negative. If necessary, the examination is done on the floor. He's never been forced onto the table! I'm incredibly grateful for that. This kind of care isn't a given! Dr. Thomasmeyer explains everything thoroughly, and I feel completely at ease. Ms. Knobel is also wonderful and confident in handling my timid dog, even when he needs to stay still for treatment. Whether it's an eye infection, dental work, or a bite wound – I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice to everyone, because they truly treat their dogs with compassion.

I'm very pleased with Dr. Thomasmeyer. She always explained everything to me in detail and was a great help when I had to decide to have my old cat, Eric, put down. She was very empathetic and helped him cross the rainbow bridge with great love. Thank you so much for that.

I've been a patient of Dr. Thomasmeyer's practice for two years now and have nothing but good things to say. She's a very friendly and competent veterinarian. Ms. Merkel is also very kind and nice, and they take plenty of time for the animals. The veterinary assistants are also very friendly, take their time, and answer questions. I feel very well cared for with my two cats.

I'd like to echo the many positive reviews. Cody has finally found a practice where he feels relaxed even in the waiting room. Dr. Merkel is caring, thorough, and inspires confidence. For minor ailments, we are in good hands with the very competent assistant. Many thanks to the entire team.
