Tierarztpraxis Strausberg - Heiko Irmscher

We went to Dr. Irmscher as a substitute vet because our regular vet was on vacation. Unfortunately, we had to have our oldest dog put down during that time; she had been with me for almost half my life, and it was incredibly emotional. I was worried that things wouldn't go as I/we had hoped, but Dr. Irmscher did a truly professional and wonderful job, even after we had tried to improve her condition with medication. Such an appointment is never pleasant, of course, but now, a few weeks later, I felt I had to share my experience. Thank you, Dr. Irmscher, for supporting us through this difficult time and for being so understanding with our "tough old lady."

A truly wonderful veterinarian. My old vet closed his practice, so I was looking for a vet with good reviews who also offered walk-in appointments. I'm happy to travel a bit further for that. He took a lot of time for my dog, and we're still seeing him. I'm extremely satisfied with his advice and help. Veterinarians like him are very rare.

I can only echo what the others have said. It's very reassuring to have a competent veterinarian nearby who answers his phone in emergencies even outside of regular hours, offers advice, and gets in as soon as possible, even if it's a Sunday. And he's very honest; he certainly could have charged us more if he'd wanted to, but he told us openly what was needed and what wasn't. Simply a good man.

We had an emergency on Saturday, right after picking up our new kittens, but we were able to get an appointment without any problems, even though we didn't quite make it during the official opening hours. Thank you so much for your help and understanding. We felt we received expert advice and assistance, and thanks to this quick help, we had a relaxing weekend with our furry friends! Thank you!
