Reviews
She has always been very patient with our Filou and is a very good doctor. And even though he doesn't like it, the whole team is friendly.
I've been going to Dr. Gropler since 2003. She's a fantastic veterinarian, takes her time and explains things calmly and understandingly. She interacts with both animals and people with great sensitivity, making you feel very well cared for, both in good times and not so good. A wonderful, friendly team where laughter is also welcome.
This was our first visit with our two dogs to Dr. Gropler and her team – and we were truly pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was immediately clear that the animals' well-being is their top priority. Dr. Gropler took plenty of time, explained everything clearly, and treated our dogs with great care. Both of them felt at home surprisingly quickly, which is a good sign for me. A big thank you to the entire team – we felt in excellent hands and will definitely be back. We have found our veterinary practice. Highly recommended! 🐾
Today I brought my young cat to your clinic for neutering. This procedure is considered easy and safe, so I didn't expect any complications. After the operation, my cat was returned to me, and I received the usual care instructions. The drive home took about 10 minutes. When I opened the carrier, my cat was still under anesthesia, but he had foam around his mouth. This worried me a lot, and I immediately called the clinic to ask what I should do. The receptionist told me that "it wasn't anything serious, this sort of thing happens," that I didn't need to come back to the clinic, and that my cat "would wake up in a few hours." I trusted this information. Unfortunately, after about an hour and a half, it became clear that he wasn't waking up. When I brought him back to the clinic, I was told that I supposedly "hadn't called" and that the receptionist "couldn't have said anything like that." I find this statement, as well as the fact that the receptionist didn't consult a veterinarian about the symptoms, to be negligent and unprofessional. Had the employee consulted a veterinarian about the proper course of action for foaming at the mouth after such a simple operation, I would have returned to the clinic immediately—within five minutes. Perhaps my cat would have had a chance of survival then. It's difficult for me to write this, but I'm convinced that the receptionist's inattention and incorrect advice cost my cat his life.
