So far, we've had very good experiences with Dr. Wruck as our rats' veterinarian. She takes the time necessary for proper treatment. She pays close attention to the animal's well-being and always tries to find the least stressful approach to minimize the animal's discomfort. What I particularly appreciate about her is her honesty and openness in telling us when treatment isn't feasible due to a lack of equipment, resources, or expertise. We had a problem with one of our rats developing an abscess in its mouth. We took the rat to Dr. Wruck. She told us frankly that she didn't have the equipment to take a detailed X-ray to see if the jaw was affected. Therefore, she referred us to the veterinary clinic so that the rat could receive the correct treatment. Since she couldn't help us further, she didn't charge us for the consultation.
