Reviews
the reply of pet clinic forward my review irritated me. what they said is ridiculous. they said ' somit jede Möglichkeit genommen' but actually they checked my cat and didn't do anything because they thought it is not very emergent, even if I checked several times with the doctor. unfortunately my cat passed away in the evening of the same day I visited the pet clinic.
I went there seeking help with my fancy mouse because she suddenly couldn't move her hind legs. So, for me, it was a medical emergency. At the counter, I was told that they only see patients by appointment. But what's the point if I have to wait for an appointment for an emergency, and who knows how long it will take? Well, luckily, I was seen anyway, albeit with a wait, only to be told that they didn't know anything about mice. To appear professional, the vet did something to the mouse. She squashed its foot with her fingernails, so that it was swollen and blue shortly afterward. If you want to test sensation, you take a very fine needle and prick gently... She gave me some medication and a referral to Hanover if it didn't get better, as diagnosing such a small animal is very difficult. Why didn't they just tell me they don't treat mice instead of charging me 100 euros for practically nothing? Never again!
I took our dog Ruby there today on a whim, because of a bee sting and her unusual behavior. She was taken care of immediately. We are also patients there and have absolutely no complaints about either the assistants or the doctors! We are very satisfied and grateful!
On the recommendation of our regular vet, we had our boxer's cruciate ligament ruptured here. The drive of just over an hour and a half was well worth it. Dr. Hackenbroich informed us very thoroughly and conscientiously about the advantages and disadvantages of surgery, as well as the different surgical options. Rocky had the operation and was able to put weight on his leg immediately. The aftercare was also excellent. We received weekly email updates on his recovery. If necessary, we were called back the same day, or we received an email with further tips on how best to proceed. Now, after 10 weeks, the follow-up X-ray was done in Northeim. It was important to me that the surgeon could see the progress himself. Everything looks good so far, and I would highly recommend Dr. Hackenbroich and his team.
A cat's life was saved here! My little kitten Coco (as is often the case) vomited heavily and repeatedly on Saturday and was consequently very weak. When I called, they responded quickly and very kindly, and we were able to come right away. Everyone at the clinic was very friendly to me and Coco. There was open and honest communication about her condition and the costs. We were asked to come back the next morning for a check-up and further treatment. And what can I say – she's clearly on the mend and certainly wouldn't have survived without this quick and compassionate help. I (and I'm sure Coco is too, even though we joked that she'd probably give zero stars because she wasn't having any fun 😅) am so grateful for their expertise and also for the follow-up call to check on her. Of course, I hope we never have to use their services again, but if we do, I know we're in the best hands. A thousand thanks to the amazing team!
