⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A few days ago, I took my slightly overweight cat, Shadow, to the Durmersheim Animal Shelter to see animal nutrition expert Pia Kabierske. Pia is an absolute pro with wonderful positive energy and a deep understanding of her craft. Shadow can turn into a real beast when he doesn't like something—and blood draws definitely fall into that category. To get a complete picture of his health, we had to do a blood test and draw a little blood. Shadow growled, wanted to scratch, and was completely beside himself—a real drama queen! 🙀 But Pia wasn't fazed at all. She remained calm and collected, as if she were in a spa instead of in the middle of a catfight 😹😻 In doing so, she not only calmed my little lion but also the worried pet owner, myself 😇. With her charming manner, she reassured me that everything was for the cat's well-being and that we would get through this together. Pia really has a knack for these kinds of situations, and her professionalism is impressive. I can highly recommend Pia Kabierske! Her professionalism and positive attitude made the examination a stress-free (and almost fun) experience.

Today was my first visit to Pia Kabierske's veterinary practice with our dog, Heidi. I should mention that Heidi is a 1 1/2-year-old Kromfohrländer, and, true to her breed, she's very reserved and distrustful of strangers. The annual vet visits are pure stress for Heidi and for us. We wanted to have a blood test done as a precaution, but it would have been nearly impossible to do it at the regular vet's office. Heidi was very stressed and extremely tense today as well. Pia, on the other hand, was very calm. Her way of looking at and handling the animals is fantastic. We actually managed to get Heidi's blood drawn with the help of her colleague Jasmin (a physiotherapist who also works at the practice). I'm so relieved. Heidi didn't like it, but she accepted it. I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice. You're taken seriously, given excellent information, and you feel understood. I'm so lucky to have such a great practice nearby. Thank you so much 🥰

I'm so glad to have finally found a practice where they take their time and where the animal's well-being is truly the top priority. Ms. Kabierske takes a lot of time and explains everything very thoroughly. So far, I've always left the practice with a good, positive feeling.

On the recommendation of a friend who also has a dog, we took our dog Mailo to Jasmin Kilian's animal health center in Durmersheim. We initially only requested a routine check-up to get a general overview of our dog's health as a preventative measure. We were absolutely thrilled with our first appointment: Jasmin dedicated a full two hours to us, patiently and thoroughly answering all our questions and examining Mailo very carefully. With her professional yet warm and empathetic approach, she shared valuable tips and tricks that have already noticeably helped Mailo. We highly recommend such an examination, especially for dog owners who love their dogs and want to get an early, preventative overview of their physical condition. As first-time dog owners, we felt completely at ease and taken seriously from the very beginning. Jasmin is incredibly fond of animals, exudes calm, and has a wonderful way with dogs. Our two-hour appointment originally included a gait analysis. Due to the winter weather, it got dark quickly, and since Jasmin dedicated a significant amount of time to examining Mailo and answering our questions, the gait analysis couldn't be completed within the allotted two hours. We were all the more impressed, therefore, that she proactively offered us another appointment in daylight to conduct the gait analysis separately. Although this took an additional 30 minutes, we were not charged for this appointment. For us, this is a clear indication that the animal's well-being is paramount, not just a quick profit. We wholeheartedly recommend such a comprehensive examination and would personally prefer it to any visit to the veterinarian, as the animal is truly considered as a whole and not simply "processed."
