We left our cat there for a week. It was very quiet, located at the back of the property, with large enclosures for each animal. Our cat even had a check-up with the vet (he had a small bump on his back). The price is excellent for this service. I would definitely use it again.

While searching for a competent veterinarian in my area, I came across Dr. Bernitt. The first few times, he was very friendly and helpful, and he listened to my cat's story. He has severe allergies, food intolerances, and reacts to any changes with stress. I mentioned this several times. When it came time to schedule surgery for dental work, I wanted to be present for the anesthesia (not during the surgery itself!). He initially said no, but his wife agreed, and he accepted it. Today, on the day of the scheduled surgery, I was suddenly no longer allowed to be present. I explained the situation to him again – it was a case of ignorance and indifference. I canceled the surgery. Animals, regardless of species, have their own personalities; they are living beings just like any human being. Although it's hard for outsiders to understand, the stress we experienced today is affecting my cat in the following ways: He's being ignored, losing hair, pulling out his fur, vomiting, and defecating. I find it very disappointing that a veterinarian doesn't address the animals' needs and doesn't take proper notes. In this case, I've decided not to go back to that practice. A tip for the vet: Make sure you get all verbal agreements in writing!

We've been boarding our three cats and our dog at this kennel for many years. Every time we picked them up, they were relaxed, as if they were on vacation too. We are absolutely satisfied. It's clean, quiet, and the fact that the vet is on-site is also reassuring. We are very grateful to Ms. Gehrke and highly recommend her.
