Experience Report from Corpus Christi 2025 – Emergency Veterinary Service In an absolutely exceptional situation – my dog was dying, and I myself had barely slept for two nights – I contacted the emergency veterinary service by phone. Since I had misplaced my debit card, I offered several alternative payment methods: cash, instant bank transfer, or PayPal. However, I was told unequivocally that only debit card payments were accepted – no exceptions. I was also informed that I would have to take my dog, who would then be euthanized, with me anyway. This bureaucratic coldness in a medical emergency was not only disappointing but simply heartless. Fortunately, I finally received help from the emergency veterinary service in Meisenheim – humane and without red tape.
