High quality of services. I was on vacation and they accepted me on the spot when something occurred to my dog . Thanks a lot!

Fantastic place where they took a lot of time to have a proper examination done, along with blood work and everything. They took time to explain and come up with a plan. I felt our dog was very well taken care of. The doctor was very open about prices, presented us with different options/medicines. Very grateful for all the help.

4) The death of my young, happy dog – one week after preventative dental surgery – is now being interpreted by your liability insurance company as meaning that I cannot prove the cause beyond doubt? You are rejecting all responsibility (economic considerations are clearly your top priority?) and claiming that my dog simply died out of the blue? He just happened to have surgery with you beforehand, and we happened to be at your practice several times in the week leading up to his death as an emergency case. Are we interpreting this correctly? The attached photo shows the inflammation level before the surgery. Why was this level even measured if surgery was performed anyway – without investigating the cause? Without informing the owners about the potentially serious consequences. It's a disaster that we trusted the Hendricks practice. 1) Deceased! Dental Anesthesia Surgery. Unfortunately, I entrusted my 4-year-old dog to the Hendricks practice for a purely preventative dental cleaning. My dog died in my arms a week after the surgery (we had repeatedly asked for help and brought him to the clinic several times during the follow-up week). Just a few hours earlier, he had been examined by Dr. Hendricks himself 🤷‍♀️. The follow-up clinic couldn't help in time. It was simply too late… 2) The response from Dr. Hendricks' clinic to this review here includes, for the first time, an expression of regret for his death. During the week after the surgery, he received regular injections there that masked the symptoms and each time suggested improvement. Which clinic was recommended exactly, and when? My dog was admitted to the clinic—at my request—after Dr. Hendricks himself had stated that he didn't look like he was about to die. Unfortunately, this wasn't accurate, given his subsequent death within a few hours. We received no indication of a gastrointestinal issue at Dr. Hendricks' clinic. The cause of the rapidly deteriorating condition immediately after the surgery wasn't investigated at all. All we got were injections. We would have been very grateful if we had been sent to a clinic instead and given the sound advice that we needed to seek professional help elsewhere. The follow-up doctors were shocked by his condition, and he was immediately admitted. Today we know what – from a medical perspective – would have been urgently necessary (standard procedure). I contacted Mr. Hendricks on the third day – late Saturday evening – and was reassured that I should wait and see. My dog was brought to the practice several times in the following days. See above 💉, no advice. Given our numerous requests for help for my dog (including via email), I cannot understand how Mr. Hendricks could have gotten the impression that I wasn't following advice that could have helped my dog. Was the diagnosis that Mr. Hendricks mentioned in his reply already known to him? We certainly didn't receive this information from the Hendricks practice! The foundation of objective clarification is stating the correct facts! 4) It is astonishing that I have been requesting clarification and answers for months, and now Mr. Hendricks suddenly has his findings ready. I request the publication of the expert opinion. No matter which veterinarian I presented the documentation to, their assessments differed significantly. I will gladly have the expert opinion reviewed.

Absolute experts with heart, for our 13-year-old German Shepherd, Spike, from Essen! We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful treatment at the Center for Veterinary Dentistry. Our German Shepherd, Spike, had to undergo dental surgery, including a tooth extraction, and we couldn't have wished for a better practice. The entire team, from reception and veterinary assistants to the veterinarians—especially Dr. A. Hendricks—is incredibly empathetic and radiates a tremendous calm, which immediately put Spike at ease. The consultation before the procedure was completely transparent and highly professional. Thanks to the modern equipment and the high level of expertise, the surgery went perfectly smoothly. We were particularly touched by how lovingly Spike was cared for throughout. Shortly after the dental surgery, our big guy was back to his old self, pain-free, and already enjoying his food again. If you're looking for a specialized, competent, and warm-hearted veterinary dental practice in Krefeld, this is the place to go. We absolutely cannot understand the isolated negative experiences of a few people. Animals, like people undergoing treatment, can always experience complications and even worse outcomes. Therefore, these reviews are completely inappropriate and unnecessary in our opinion! Many thanks to the whole team, from the bottom of our hearts, the Steibler family from Essen, and of course from Spike!
