Reviews
I can only agree with all the negative reviews, unfortunately only retrospectively, since 2 years ago I had a different opinion, since I moved = 2 years and 2 months - I see it completely differently, because unfortunately I was there again and I regretted it deeply and so does my now 14 year old cat đĄđĄ look for a competent empathetic vet and not one who comes after 2 years with supposedly outstanding payments to intimidate former customers - my legal guardian will support me in what Mr. Brandner still expects - lawsuit
I unfortunately had a very bad experience with Mr. Brandner last year, June 2023. My cat couldn't breathe, and my vet was unfortunately on vacation. So I had to act quickly and went to Mr. Brandner that evening. With the approval of an X-ray, it turned out that the diaphragm was torn. However, he couldn't help me and only told me that specialists could attempt surgery, and that there would be no guarantee. Mr. Brandner didn't offer me any other options, and I was so overwhelmed by my situation that I decided he should try to stabilize the cat overnight so that I could take him to another vet the next morning. About 20 minutes later, my husband told Mr. Brandner that it would be better to have the cat put down because it was pure torture. Unfortunately, I hadn't thought of it myself at the time and would have preferred a competent vet to advise me. Mr. Brandner took another x-ray in my absence for his own benefit (âŹ100 per image). When I picked up my deceased cat the next day and wanted to pay the bill, I was hit with another blow: âŹ650, including both x-rays. When I asked to see the bill, I was seated in front of the computer in the consulting room. Just as I began to read, Mr. Brandner sent me back out and started working on the computer. After a confrontation with Mr. Brandner because I didn't want to pay for the second x-ray, I was yelled at and told to complain to the veterinary association. I waited half a year for a response from the veterinary association and ultimately had to take action privately. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see Mr. Brandner's statement. Due to the incorrect advice, I was unable to help my cat and would recommend every animal lover not to enter this practice and to submit further experiences and complaints to the veterinary association.
I went to the vet's office on July 4th for a routine check-up. They found a lot of tartar buildup. The vet quoted me âŹ600 for its removal. The price would vary depending on whether any teeth needed to be extracted. That seemed a bit steep. I've been trying to reach the vet since July 10th, but without success. I'm going to get a second opinion. I won't be going back to that vet.
I brought my cat to the vet's office as an emergency on Friday evening. He was a very nice veterinarian who exuded a calm demeanor. He cared for my cat for six days and nights and fought to save his life.
A huge thank you: Expertise and compassion in a difficult crisis (Nelli says thank you!) After a serious accident and subsequent traumatic brain injury with vestibular syndrome (balance disorder) suffered by our dog Nelli, we didn't know if she would recover. Mr. Brandner was our rock during this critical time. He not only made the correct diagnosis immediately and acted with absolute medical expertise, but he also alleviated our fears. He calmly and clearly explained what was happening in our dog's brain and encouraged us to remain patient. A word about the costs: Of course, they seem high at first, and paying bills, especially before Christmas, is certainly no fun. But they are absolutely reasonable and justified. When you consider the professional quality, the intensive care, and above all, the result, it's worth every penny. Today, six weeks later, Nelli is playing again and enjoying life; we couldn't have achieved this without his help and his focus on what truly matters. If you're looking for a veterinarian who is both technically brilliant and has a heart of gold, you've come to the right place. Thank you for everything!
