Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with Mr. Brandner last year (June 2023). My cat couldn't breathe, and my vet was on vacation. So I had to act quickly and went to Mr. Brandner's in the evening. An X-ray revealed that the cat's diaphragm was ruptured. He couldn't offer any further help and could only tell me that specialists could try to operate, but even then, there was no guarantee of success. Mr. Brandner didn't offer any other options, and I was so overwhelmed by the situation that I decided he should try to stabilize the cat overnight so I could take him to another vet the next morning. About 20 minutes later, my husband told Mr. Brandner that it would be better to have the cat euthanized because it was pure torture. Unfortunately, I didn't think of that myself while I was there and wish a competent vet had advised me to do so. ... Mr. Brandner took an X-ray in my absence, out of his own interest (€100 per image). The next day, when I went to pick up my deceased cat and pay the bill, I was in for another shock: €650, including both X-rays. When I asked to see the invoice, I was seated in front of the computer in the treatment room. Just as I started to read it, Mr. Brandner sent me out again and began working on the computer. After a confrontation with Mr. Brandner because I refused to pay for the second X-ray, he yelled at me and told me to complain to the veterinary association. I waited six months for a response from the veterinary association, and in the end, I had to take legal action privately. Unfortunately, I never received a copy of Mr. Brandner's statement. Due to the incorrect advice, I was unable to comfort my cat and would advise every animal lover to avoid this practice and to report any further experiences and complaints to the veterinary association.

I brought my cat to the vet's office as an emergency on Friday evening. He was a very nice veterinarian who exuded a calm demeanor. He cared for my cat for six days and nights and fought to save his life.

We received expert advice and the cat came through everything perfectly. The biggest annoyance is that payment by debit card is not possible.

A huge thank you: Expertise and compassion in a difficult crisis (Nelli says thank you!) After a serious accident and subsequent traumatic brain injury with vestibular syndrome (balance disorder) suffered by our dog Nelli, we didn't know if she would recover. Mr. Brandner was our rock during this critical time. He not only made the correct diagnosis immediately and acted with absolute medical expertise, but he also alleviated our fears. He calmly and clearly explained what was happening in our dog's brain and encouraged us to remain patient. A word about the costs: Of course, they seem high at first, and paying bills, especially before Christmas, is certainly no fun. But they are absolutely reasonable and justified. When you consider the professional quality, the intensive care, and above all, the result, it's worth every penny. Today, six weeks later, Nelli is playing again and enjoying life; we couldn't have achieved this without his help and his focus on what truly matters. If you're looking for a veterinarian who is both technically brilliant and has a heart of gold, you've come to the right place. Thank you for everything!

I went to the vet's office on July 4th for a routine check-up. They found a lot of tartar buildup. The vet quoted me €600 for its removal. The price would vary depending on whether any teeth needed to be extracted. That seemed a bit steep. I've been trying to reach the vet since July 10th, but without success. I'm going to get a second opinion. I won't be going back to that vet.
