Fantastic vet practice

We'd tried a couple of good Vets...then I met Dr. Johnen (and his alternate practice with Dr. Mrs. Johnen). He is compassionately direct ... regarding our animals and us. His experience is apparent with succinct remedies to our animals' sometimes detrimental adventures.

We took our dog here for emergency surgery due to pyometra, which was successful. We returned a few times afterward for follow-up appointments and because our dog didn't tolerate the oral antibiotics well. The practice is very efficiently organized with friendly staff and short waiting times. Blood tests and X-rays were done on-site. I can wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary practice.

Dr. Johnen and his lovely, intelligent trainee definitely deserve 5 stars. My dog ​​was examined quickly and thoroughly. We arrived as an emergency and were treated immediately. A very competent and honest practice. We had an appointment the next day and were seen quickly. My 11-year-old German-Belgian Shepherd needed several examinations, blood tests, X-rays of his entire spine, IV fluids, and medication. His nails were also trimmed. And for all of that, the price was fair. Animal welfare is clearly the top priority here. The negative reviews here are absolutely unjustified in my opinion. One star is still too much! They pretended to be helping us, as if our dog, who had come to the practice with puppies, needed IV fluids. We trusted the vet, paid for the services, and in the end, they tried to steal our dog and puppies and sell them elsewhere. This vet is connected to the Kowalski vet. So be careful, folks! This all happened last year, and we've already hired a lawyer. The woman at the Kowalski practice knew nothing about it but was informed about what was happening at her practice. The main instigator was the veterinary assistant at the Kowalski practice, who then referred us to Christian Johnen. The four of us had to go to both practices and threaten to call the police before we got our dogs back after three weeks! I never would have thought that something like this could happen in Germany, that you go to a qualified and licensed vet and have to fear not getting your animals back. ' ... After a long time, we decided to publish this review because the true number of cases is certainly unknown. If you've experienced something similar, please file a police report or contact me. This happened to my colleague, and if I hadn't intervened, he would never have gotten his dogs back. I'm a witness to this and I'm sure there are other victims as well.
