Very helpful and accommodating vet!

We take three generations of dogs there, and they are our trusted veterinarians. They are incredibly competent, patient, and always listen carefully before choosing the gentlest option to minimize stress on the dog. In emergencies, we get an appointment quickly. My personal highlight: being able to be present during the anesthesia to help ease the dog's anxiety upon waking. A fantastic team!
Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this practice. Before scheduling an appointment, we explained the situation in detail over the phone: Our cat has a tumor on her leg, amputation is a possibility, and CT scans were already available. We specifically requested a second opinion and an estimate of the expected costs. After consulting with the veterinarian, we were told we could schedule an appointment for this purpose. However, during the appointment, the veterinarian explained that she had no experience with tumors and could not interpret CT scans. This meant she couldn't help us with the very questions we had already explained. Furthermore, she stated that they do not perform amputations. It was all the more incomprehensible to us that we were still charged €30 for this appointment. Had we been informed over the phone that the requested assessment was not possible, we would not have attended the appointment at all. Our subsequent attempt to clarify the situation by phone was equally disappointing. Our points that no actual consultation had taken place and that the appointment could have been avoided given the information we had already provided were ignored. Instead, the conversation ended with the statement: "Just pay, and it'll be over and done with." We would have appreciated significantly more transparency and customer focus, both in scheduling the appointment and in handling our complaint.
Excellent veterinarians with incredible empathy. They always take plenty of time, even to get a second opinion if needed. Very conveniently located with parking in front of the building. Highly recommended!
