Christin Bechmann - Kleintierpraxis in der Torstrasse

This is the place where I found the most empathetic and caring vets. This is the place where I take my dog regularly for a check-up, and he is always happy to see vets. They are kind, gentle, professional, everyone speaks English, all prices are reasonable, and my doggo gets treats:) Last summer, my dog had castration in my home country that was not done well, and when we arrived in Berlin, I noticed my dog was sad and not so good. Doctor Katharina immediately suggested a surgery and gave us a spot, but I was reluctant to put a dog for another surgery in such a short period. I was hoping it could get better with medication. She was still available for a call and responding to my emails, which meant a lot because i was lost. So, after trying medication for 2 days, my dog ended up on urgent surgery Friday night at one clinic and had to stay there for 3 days. They could not even guarantee if he would make it. He did. 🙏 When we got him, I called vet Katharina again and asked if she we could come for a check-up and after care, and she agreed to. We were visiting for 2 weeks, till stiches were removed and Luka finished with prebiotic and antibiotics. I wish I had listened to vet Katharina right away. I was afraid of surgery and bill (quote was 600), and we ended up on urgent surgery in another place and bill of over 3 000 eur. Our dog is healthy, but we learned our lesson. When you find great vets like in Kleintierpraxis, where they are expert and also so empathetic, trust them and listen to them! We are going there again in April for a regular check and to get some magic treats from the doctor. :)

I don’t know how I haven’t written a review before, but Christin is absolutely the best and sweetest vet we’ve ever met. She’s the kind of person who replies to you on a Sunday night and cares about your animals as much as — or maybe even more than — you do. She is truly amazing. Both of our dogs love her, and we feel so lucky to have found her. Thank you, Christin!

This vet is the absolute best! We are so grateful to Christin and her great team. They have guided us through some difficult times when our dog, Rocky first arrived in Berlin and they have looked after him ever since. He LOVES going to the vet. We are so grateful for having such a great vet ❤️

I couldn't recommend Dr. Bechmann and her Veterinary practice enough. I am the owner of a cheeky Shiba Inu who does not tolerate visits to the doctor, but Dr. Bechmann and her team go out of their way to care for him each time. Thank you very much.

This is an incredible vet that I would recommend to anyone. They are always caring and listen when you have questions or if you are on a budget. When you have an appointment, there is basically no wait to see the vet. They've helped keep my 16.5 year old cat happy and healthy. Thank you Frau Bechmann!
