Tierarztpraxis Hempel

So this lady told me on the phone to come early, i.e. 30 minutes before the vet opens, so I wouldn't wait forever till my turn, and also that I could wait inside until 15:00. I went at 14:30 but I felt it was too early and the door was closed, so I waited till 14:52 then rang the bell because it was hot and I wanted my dog to stay indoors in the mean time. This guy came and opened the door and said sarcastically that I was too early and he didn't understand why I rang the bell already blah blah I just left because I already didn't like this place and didn't want to spend money there. Very unpleasant. Never again.

Great experience for our dog. She's usually super afraid of vet clinics and generally very suspicious about strangers. But she didn't want to leave the clinic. A lot of attention and proper consultation.

Lovely friendly vet with good, reasonable advice. Easy to make an appointment on the same day and the vet I dealt with had perfect English. My puppy left happy and well looked after.

Did not take the time to properly diagnose our cat, just gave it a shot of antibiotics. Result: Cat not healthy and we had to find another vet. On the second visit the doctor was incredibly rude and is generally keeping people waiting by annoying the clientele with an abundance of boring anecdotes about the animals she has known and loved. Go to Torstrasse instead!

Mrs Köhler helped my cat Socken who is not so friendly with vets. She is the most kind Tierarzt I have encountered so far, very professional and very friendly. She took time to explain exactly what could be wrong with my cat, took time to examine her, and do all the necessary investigations, so I would be assured that my cat will be ok. After not pooping for 3 and a half days, Socken pooped the second she got home. She also changed the course of treatment for my cat, to avoid unnecessary trips, so the cat would be more calm and not stressed. I could not be more greatful.
