Ms. Kreis saved our Prague Ratter Paulchen's life during her on-call shift last weekend. My husband and I will be eternally grateful to her for that.

The very friendly staff and nurse welcomed us warmly on the holiday and served us immediately. We received help without hesitation and thank them sincerely! We will come again and recommend them to others! The Scheerschmidt family from Unterschönau

Four years ago, we visited Dr. Kreis on a Saturday during her emergency appointments; she was on call. Our cat had been hit by a car in the hindquarters and couldn't walk. Dr. Kreis x-rayed her and gave her nerve injections for three days. Nothing more could be done, even though her pelvis was fractured in several places. Our little "mouse" cat seemed to recover slowly, but after three months, she was able to walk and jump again. Today, you wouldn't even know she was seriously injured. And we didn't care that Schleusingen-Hirschbach isn't exactly around the corner from us. Dr. Kreis saved our cat's life. Thank you so much, we'll be back again and again!

I took my cat to the emergency vet and, frankly, I'm appalled by the experience. What struck me as particularly negative was the man who was present during the examination. When I tried to pet my cat to calm him down, I was told to stop because he was "shedding everywhere." Excuse me, but we're talking about a veterinary clinic here. My cat was distressed. In such a situation, I expect some empathy and understanding. Even during the examination, the way my cat was handled seemed insensitive and rather listless. As a pet owner, you entrust your animal to people in an emergency situation, and they should be handling it professionally and respectfully. The final straw, however, was that I was given eye drops afterward whose expiration date was already October 2025. I only noticed this later. It's now June 2026. I find this absolutely unacceptable, especially for eye medication. I only received the card reader receipt, but no invoice. I was told that issuing an invoice would mean additional work and cost more. This isn't how it works for me – I automatically receive an invoice from my regular vet. Since I had a bad feeling about the whole experience, I took my cat back to my regular vet on Monday. This visit was a huge disappointment. Mistakes can happen, but the way patients and pet owners were treated, as well as dispensing expired medication, shouldn't happen in a veterinary practice. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot recommend this practice.
