I must warn you about this vet! We are stunned and incredibly sad. Bella wasn't "just a dog" to our friends, but a beloved member of their family. After the surgery, she was sent home still under the influence of anesthesia and even suffering from hypothermia. We had no idea how critical her condition truly was. But the vet should have known! At home, our friends helplessly watched as Bella never recovered. They could only sit by as she took her last breaths. A sight that broke their hearts and will haunt them forever. This pain, this shock, and the feeling of having been abandoned by this vet at the crucial moment are almost impossible to put into words. For this reason, we want to report this incident and have it investigated. Not out of revenge, but because we are deeply convinced that other animals must be protected and that such a terrible experience must never happen again! In my opinion, the vet is solely to blame! It was negligent to send an animal home in such a condition, without veterinary supervision, immediately after surgery! Bella would very likely still be alive if she had been in good veterinary hands! And not with this vet, who preferred to enjoy his Sunday and simply rushed her through, trying to get rid of her unprotected right after the operation! Bella deserved better, but unfortunately, we can't bring her back, nor can we undo the fact that we should steer clear of this veterinary practice! But perhaps we can protect other animals from this vet! Therefore, we will consider legal action so that no one else has to experience something so tragic!

A vet with a heart❤️. Our cat was neutered and didn't eat for two days afterward. On a Wednesday evening when all the practices were already closed, we received detailed advice and tips from Mr. Hackmann on what we could do to stimulate our cat's appetite. He was even willing to open his practice if her situation didn't change. For me, he's undoubtedly a good vet, and my next visits will be there.

We had our dog Jordy neutered by Dr. Hackmann in Düsseldorf and are absolutely thrilled. The operation went smoothly, the follow-up appointment was thorough, and the stitches were removed without any fuss. The entire team, Dr. Hackmann and the veterinary assistant, were incredibly friendly. We were allowed to stay with Jordy until he passed away, which was very reassuring. Jordy recovered quickly, and the wound healed without any complications. Dr. Hackmann also practices as a naturopathic practitioner and uses a holistic approach – from conventional veterinary procedures to natural healing methods. Anyone open to alternative therapies will receive excellent care here. We can't understand the negative reviews. Every anesthetic carries risks; this applies to every living being. Tragic cases, such as a guinea pig with extremely long teeth or a rabbit with a huge tumor that was about to rupture, are not the fault of the veterinarian, but rather the fault of the owners. As pet owners, you have a responsibility to take preventative measures and react to any signs of problems in a timely manner. Those who only act in the acute phase must be aware that risks are involved; this has nothing to do with the work of the veterinarian. Criticism of medicinal plants or spiritual approaches is also misplaced here. Those who are open to them understand that these methods can be valuable support for both animal and owner. We wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Hackmann and his team: they are professionally excellent, empathetic, caring, and have a holistic approach that respects both animal and human.
