Thank you so much for the wonderful care of our Shiva! 🐾
This was our first visit to Dr. Gürtler's practice. Our outdoor cat, Peter, needed help for the first time, and everything was perfect at this clinic. After a short wait, our cat was examined gently and professionally by the veterinarian. He received an injection and medication. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. We highly recommend this clinic and will gladly return if needed.
I took my puppy there today as an emergency. The vet and the nurses were incredibly kind and empathetic. Most importantly, they were understanding and never made accusations. A huge thank you to the vet and the nurses! I highly recommend this wonderful team and will always go there from now on whenever my four-legged friends need care.
Unfortunately, I now have to make a negative post here. The story: We took our cat to Dr. Gürtler because he had what we thought was an injured eye. Dr. Gürtler examined our cat and thought it was more likely an inflammation, so he gave us cortisone eye drops. After about two weeks, there was still no significant improvement, and he gave us a cortisone ointment. After that, it seemed to get a little better. Recently, we switched vets, and this new vet performed a fluorescein test with dye and UV light to detect a defect. It turned out that he had a rather deep cut on the lens, and the cortisone had actually worsened it and prevented it from healing. If my cat suffers permanent damage as a result of this misdiagnosis, I reserve the right to take legal action... so unfortunately, we had to take our cat to Dr. Stief's veterinary clinic in Mühlhausen, where, due to the incorrect treatment, our cat had to undergo surgery; he needed a new lens. Picture 1 is the day of the surgery and the second picture is now 4 weeks after the surgery.
