I'm speechless. It was about a raccoon on our property that most likely ingested rat poison. Nobody knows how long it had been lying there, enduring such unbearable pain. The game warden wasn't going to come for another three hours. The vet doesn't do that sort of thing—because she doesn't get paid for it. I always thought you became a vet to help animals. The only thing that could have helped that poor raccoon was euthanasia. Instead, it probably suffered for hours in agony. I'm speechless at our system. The only ones who actually arrived promptly were the fire department/animal rescue. No medical personnel who could have put it out of its misery on the spot as quickly as possible. I'm speechless.
We are absolutely thrilled with Dr. Ludwig-Jangk. She is very empathetic and highly competent. Best veterinarian. We value her very highly.
We took our Labrador to the emergency vet yesterday, and the treatment was fantastic. Our dog felt much better after a few injections. Ms. Ludwig also kept us informed throughout the process. Thank you so much for the quick and excellent care.
