Super
We highly recommend the small animal clinic. We go to Dr. Skorwider, and she examined our Willi thoroughly, not just focusing on the symptoms. She is a truly wonderful and empathetic veterinarian. Many thanks also to all the nurses. You all do a fantastic job!
My cat came to the vet because he had received antibiotics from an emergency vet, which he didn't tolerate well; these things happen. He had severe diarrhea and refused food and water. At this clinic, he received a new antibiotic (with the same active ingredient) and a new painkiller (Metamizole 500 mg, a human medication). The prescription indicated both in the clinic and for home use in tablet form. I received no information about possible side effects or dietary advice—not a word too much. During the night, he couldn't stand anymore; he had excessive salivation and diarrhea, vomiting constantly. He was worse than before. That night, I called the emergency vet, who had five patients ahead of them. Our Peter was no longer fit to travel (diarrhea, vomiting, and completely exhausted). In the morning, I arranged a house call from a veterinarian. These medications were immediately discontinued, and other, gentler ones were prescribed. These medications were completely unsuitable. Peter was on the mend again; we were really lucky. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this practice. I'm giving it one star because my cat was treated very lovingly by the nurse. As a side note, I'd also like to add that doctors should introduce themselves by name. It's just common courtesy.
We don't quite know how to put our gratitude into words! After our beloved Helge was given no chance of survival and we wanted to get a second opinion at the veterinary practice, we landed in the best possible hands. Hands that cared for our Helge with love and affection during his final weeks. At times, we felt he preferred being with Ms. Skorwider and Ms. Sommer to being with us. A dog who is happy to see a team of doctors says more than a thousand words! Thanks to you, we gained precious time and, most importantly, trust! Your dedication is incredible! Expertise and, above all, heart! You have a true calling, which is no longer a given these days! We want to thank you for your time, understanding, calm and strength, and your humanity! We were surrounded by compassion—Helge and we both felt it! Even though the outcome wasn't great, we know you gave us everything humanly possible, and that's why you will always have a place in our hearts. Thank you for everything 🐾🤎
