Great service he is working with our dog's epilepsy and I appreciate the expert care and empathy.

I brought my dog ​​to the clinic, who kept having extreme pain attacks that were always treated with painkillers from local vets. Eventually, I got fed up with it, and our physiotherapist recommended I see Dr. Rentmeister to get him checked out. So I did, and he made an appointment. A CT scan quickly revealed that he had a herniated disc in his cervical spine. He then operated on it under the anesthesia provided by the CT scan. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Rentmeister; my little guy has been doing great ever since. He's pain-free and would love to play and run around again. I'm still holding him back since he needs to take it easy. But he seems to be doing wonderfully again. His practice team is also fantastic; they even called me back in the evening to answer the questions I'd left on his answering machine. I highly recommend this practice.

Due to suspected epilepsy, we took our dog to Dr. Rentmeister. An MRI was performed first. We were generally satisfied with both the procedure and the anesthesia. However, during the subsequent medication treatment for the now confirmed idiopathic epilepsy, the seizure situation worsened. Despite mentioning the increasingly severe seizures, we felt we were not given adequate advice. After the seizures became more and more intense, and our dog knocked out several teeth and fractured her jaw, we decided to switch veterinarians. Since then, the situation has improved significantly. Unfortunately, we cannot attribute this positive outcome to Dr. Rentmeister…

My dog ​​(a German Shepherd) had spinal disc surgery two weeks ago. Dr. Rentmeister performed a CT scan beforehand, which revealed an incidental finding. I was informed immediately, and we worked together to find the best solution for my dog. Thank you again for the expert advice in every way. The team is truly fantastic—they were incredibly sensitive and loving with my dog! We were also able to find a solution regarding payment. 🙏 Thank you again for that as well. I have never seen such a neat suture! The surgical scar is so precise and clean, so there were absolutely no problems even after the stitches were removed. My grandson and I took our dog Alfred to the vet on May 20, 2026. A CT scan was performed, followed immediately by surgery on his cervical vertebrae. We felt very well cared for at this practice. The doctor and his assistants were very friendly. The operation lasted about two hours, and then our Alfi was able to go home. The doctor explained everything very clearly and calmly, which helped to alleviate our anxiety. We are very grateful; our Alfi is doing well again.
