We went there with our cat and were extremely satisfied. Dr. Merkt was very empathetic and always listened to us very carefully. She responded very kindly to our questions and comments. She is also very competent in her field, and we would recommend her without reservation.

We've been taking our animals to Dr. Merkt for several months now. And we can honestly say we're more than happy. Dr. Merkt and her staff are empathetic, respectful of both the animals and their owners, and highly competent. Nothing is sugarcoated, but everything possible is done to help the animals. Appointments are available quickly and on short notice, which is very helpful in urgent situations. We are grateful for everything that has already been done for our animals. So, from our perspective, 6/5 stars.

A very friendly and personable vet with fair prices. Our cats and we feel well cared for and enjoy going there. No long wait times for appointments, no overcrowded waiting rooms, and no pressure during treatment. They take the necessary time for the treatment. Even emergencies were no problem at all. Today was our first visit to Dr. Merkt's practice. Our usual vet was on vacation, so I called Dr. Merkt's office this morning and got an appointment right away. The practice is really lovely. Dr. Merkt and her assistant were incredibly kind, friendly, and very gentle with our cat :-) They took plenty of time for the examination and for talking with us. I would definitely entrust my pet to this practice again.

You're simply the best Better than all the rest Better than anyone Anyone I've ever met (T. Turner) Best vet ever. We've had dogs and other animals for over 30 years, and in different places, always had different vets, all of whom were really good. But Dr. Merkt beats them all. Our elderly and severely disabled dog has been in the best hands for almost 3 years. Whether it's long-term therapy and monthly monitoring, but especially in really critical situations (kicked by a horse, sudden seizures over a certain period of time, etc.), she's always available, always empathetic towards both humans and animals, and highly professional. We feel very well looked after, and the prices are more than fair. I wouldn't have agreed to urgent dental surgery for a 14-year-old mixed breed with anyone else with such peace of mind. 6 out of 5 stars! JJG
