Reviews
A very professional, attentive, and competent team. I thank Dr. Schwing for diagnosing and operating on our faithful companion Nouky the same evening. Despite the late hour, and knowing we had driven for an hour and a half, the doctor decided to operate on our dog, who was suffering from a cyst that had severely damaged his retinal cornea. After three weeks of recovery, Nouky is doing wonderfully. Thank you so much.
Review for Veterinarian (Eye Care) My regular veterinarian referred me to this practice because of my dog's eye problems. I got an appointment relatively quickly, and the wait time was acceptable. Unfortunately, the appointment itself was very problematic: I decided against having blood tests done on my 10-year-old dog and wanted to continue treatment with my regular vet, as this practice is quite far away. The veterinarian reacted very rudely to this. The dosage of the prescribed tablets for my dog was incorrect (my dog weighs 7 kg, but the calculation was for a 16 kg dog), which resulted in him vomiting that evening. I requested an explanation of the diagnosis via email but only received a copy that was sent to my regular vet, and no clear feedback on whether I should continue administering the medication. Overall, I found the communication inappropriately unfriendly and unhelpful, especially considering the health risk to my dog. I paid 213 euros for the treatment, and I found the ratio of price, treatment and customer service to be very unsatisfactory.
This is a veterinary practice run with passion, where animal care is combined with professionalism. Owners feel heard, and their animals are surrounded by warm, dedicated care. Warmest regards, Lilla
Our cat Leo had a foot injury, the severity of which we weren't sure of. We were able to get an appointment around noon on Holy Saturday, even though we'd never been there before, as no other veterinarian was open in Kehl. Leo received loving and excellent care; they took plenty of time for him. Thank you so much for your dedication! Babs Adler
This is yet another example of a lack of empathy at reception! I'm on vacation, far from home, with a 4-month-old puppy who has swelling on his neck/trachea! They didn't bother to explain that they operate on an appointment-only basis and that I should call ahead next time! I can stay, but all the regular appointments are seen first! I've been waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes now, and it's not even busy!
