In my experience, this vet doesn't know much. She keeps pushing for allergies (apparently quite often, judging by the comments here), even though neither the symptoms nor the animal's history support that, and the condition has actually worsened with allergy-friendly food. She contradicts herself when questioned, comes across as very arrogant (after all, I didn't go to medical school), and the sample collection was a disaster (if you don't have enough cells, you obviously won't get a result)! Strangely enough, my own research tells me the complete opposite of what we experienced here! Never again!!

A very good veterinarian who made the correct diagnosis for our dog. Thanks to her careful treatment, his skin condition was cured. A nice, well-furnished practice, a friendly veterinary assistant who even takes the time to pet the dog, and only a short wait. Microscopic examinations are done immediately, and you get the results right away. I've been there several times now with various illnesses and have been very satisfied.

I was able to get an appointment for my cat with allergies at short notice. Thank you again for that. The assistant and Dr. Löwenstein are very kind and friendly. Dr. Löwenstein took plenty of time for the diagnostic consultation and examination. I hope my cat will finally get the help she needs.

We have only positive things to say about her. Dr. Löwenstein was always very friendly, always answered our questions, and had a wonderful way with our dog. Our visits (300 km round trip) were definitely worth it, and our dog was cured of his skin condition. We cannot confirm the negative reviews.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Before contacting this practice, I saw some of the negative reviews online and still decided to give Ms. Löwenstein a chance. Unfortunately, the negative reviews were confirmed. The arrogance Ms. Löwenstein displays is truly unparalleled. First, she ignored my emails (when I called to confirm delivery, she simply didn't deem it necessary to reply?). Then she claimed that I had filled out the four-page preliminary questionnaire incompletely and that crucial information was missing. As a physician myself, I am very familiar with taking a complete medical history and communicating relevant findings and diagnoses, and I described our Havanese's six-year medical history in great detail. When I asked her about it, she admitted that she hadn't even read the form. When I then asked her to follow up and let me know if she saw any chance of helping us (our dog has already seen numerous veterinarians and specialists here and in the USA!), she told me she wouldn't and that we should find someone else. I have rarely experienced such unprofessional behavior from a medical professional. Very disappointing! After this extremely unpleasant phone call, I don't even want to meet Ms. Löwenstein in person, let alone let her near my dog...
