Dr. med. vet. Michael Hempel

I have nothing but absolutely positive things to report! I spontaneously went there yesterday with a rescue pet. The doctor was understandably reserved at first, who first took a look at both the animal and the human. Dr. Hempel provided excellent and competent care, but didn't sugarcoat anything. He was fair and honest! I've rarely met a doctor who took so much time and put in so much effort!

Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful! Went there today with our cat because of an ingrown toenail. The receptionist was friendly – ​​Dr. Hempel, on the other hand, was arrogant, rude, and completely lacking in empathy. He used an impertinent tone as soon as we entered the treatment room. When I asked to treat the cat without additional consultation, he reacted dismissively and refused treatment. He falsely claimed we had last been there in 2023, even though my mother had been there in 2025 for an examination and nail trim (bill approx. €90). He threatened us twice, saying, "Either you leave, or I'll examine you properly," and even announced that he would delete our cat's file. I work in the medical field myself and know how to communicate respectfully – that wasn't the case here. Never again!

My wife and I took our cats there for the first time today. We had appointments, which kept the wait time very short and pleasant. The vet provides a lot of information and thorough explanations. He's very knowledgeable about cats and has a calm and reassuring presence. We will continue to use this vet and look forward to our continued positive experience.

The vet is available by appointment only, which makes the waiting time pleasantly short. The vet is friendly, very knowledgeable about cats, and we feel our pet is in very good hands there.

Very nice vet. He's kind to animals. Unfortunately, I've been to him several times with my cat, who had behavioral problems, without any results. I had to go to the emergency room later. The result: FORL. It would have been possible to detect it if the cat had been properly examined.
