This happened October 2022. I put off writing this review because I hate leaving negative reviews. My regular vet was on vacation and I was worried that it might be an emergency for my cat so I came here. Dr. Asperger wasn't there so I'm not sure who the person was that I saw. I explained that my cat had been trying to have a bowl movement all morning and was straining so hard that his rectum was actually coming out and I was afraid he was going to have a prolapse. He would also throw up everytime he tried to go and cry loudly. She told me he had an urinary infection. I said he doesn't have any issues urinating and again explained what was happening. She insisted it was UTI and gave me an antibiotic. Thankfully, he was okay until my regular vet was back and it didn't result in a prolapse. I told her what was happening, she gave him a laxative and he was back to normal. She gave me advice on how to prevent it from happening again and he hasn't had that issue since.
