A very friendly and caring doctor. She acts in the best interests of the animal and finds a good balance between homeopathy and conventional veterinary medicine. She takes a thorough medical history and plans treatment in a transparent and understandable manner, scheduling appointments for telephone consultations to avoid unnecessary animal transport. If you're not averse to homeopathy and are looking for a doctor who loves animals, even for difficult cases, this is definitely the right place for you!

Where other veterinarians saw no way out, Dr. Schaaff paved a new path to healing for us. I am extremely grateful for her vision and for considering the animal (in this case, my dog) as a whole – physically, emotionally, and mentally. A very clear recommendation from me and Luca.

Beware of this veterinarian!!! Absolutely not recommended, and even one star is too much. Unfortunately, I can only agree with the negative reviews. After visiting Dr. Schaaff on a recommendation for my dog's main health issues, I received a bill for €152 (examination, Schüssler salts, and osteopathy). The consultation was okay, but the treatment method was rather questionable. A blockage in my dog's lumbar spine was discovered by chance and supposedly resolved, yet I was still expected to return at least once a month. It seems very much, as mentioned in a previous review, that the goal is to keep the animal in the veterinarian's care long-term for treatment and financial gain. My dog could barely walk from the day after the appointment and kept lifting one leg. When I inquired with the vet, she told me to come back again. Of course, I would have had to pay for this again, which I refused to do. Dr. Schaaff then became very snide and arrogant, implying that I had no understanding of osteopathy and that my dog hadn't been calm after the treatment. 152€ for a vet visit is one thing, but then to demand even more money when the dog is worse off after the treatment than before is absolutely outrageous, especially since the vet didn't seem particularly busy. But perhaps that's precisely the reason for such exorbitant bills.

One star is already too good. I took my dog to the vet because she was scratching her snout area. After some tests, it was determined that her coat (not her skin!) was very dry, as she was currently under a lot of stress, which affected her metabolism. We got homeopathic "medication." Treatment cost almost €90 plus €10 for "medication." None of it helped. Then we went to a real vet. In the end, it was a contact allergy. The treatment and medication cost €38. The bowls were replaced, and the problem was solved. Incidentally, Dr. Google also gave me this diagnosis, which probably suggests that this problem isn't unknown, which is why Ms. Schaaff should have figured it out. Even the vet had to grin at Ms. Schaaff's described procedures. The doctor and her assistant had to laugh out loud, especially at the argument that the coat was dry. The problem wasn't the fur, but the skin (only on the muzzle), dear Ms. Schaaff. ;) I wouldn't recommend this lady to anyone who truly loves their pet and doesn't have to spend a lot of money for a little (as was the case with me).
