Dr. med. vet. Wolf-Dieter Wagner

I wanted to schedule an appointment for my horse due to acute lameness, but the receptionist told me they couldn't tell me for another five days whether my horse's location was even on the vet's schedule. I then contacted Mr. Wagner directly via WhatsApp. The promised appointment three days later was not kept. At 7:00 PM that evening, I received a reply saying, "It's no longer possible for him." The next day, I was on call, and that evening I received the same curt WhatsApp message: "It's no longer possible." Regardless of the fact that my horse suffered completely unnecessary pain for several more days, in my opinion, this is no way to treat customers. I believe that greed outweighs the actual goal of helping animals! I've heard of similar incidents before, but until now, I didn't believe them.

Unfortunately, I can only strongly advise everyone against using this veterinarian. At the beginning of July 2019, I contacted Dr. Wagner's clinic for the first time because of my horse's lameness. I was told that Mr. Wagner would visit me during one of his tours. He was currently in the USA, and they would contact me at the end of July/beginning of August. I hadn't received a call, so I contacted them again. This time, I was told that Mr. Wagner would come at the end of the following week, or at the latest, the following week. So I waited patiently. Time passed, and I heard nothing. I called the clinic again, and this time they gave me an appointment for the following Friday. Regarding the time, I was told to call Dr. Wagner on his mobile phone that morning. So I took the day off and called Dr. Wagner in the morning. He didn't answer his phone, and he didn't respond to any messages. So I called the clinic again, but the staff didn't know anything either. That evening, I received a WhatsApp message saying that he wasn't coming at all. I made another appointment for the following week and was told to call again to confirm the time. Mr. Wagner was unreachable that day as well and didn't return my call. This charade was repeated four times (over four weeks)! I called the clinic again and again and spoke to the woman, but she only made excuses and put me off every time. Finally, she admitted that this wasn't how you treat a "customer." She said she would speak to Dr. Wagner personally and let me know the appointment time. I never heard from her again. To this day, Mr. Wagner hasn't responded to any calls or WhatsApp messages. I find it utterly outrageous to string a "customer" along like this, especially when it involves a horse in pain. It's also worth mentioning that the woman from the clinic never knew Mr. Wagner's whereabouts or when he would be returning. I was often told that he simply hadn't shown up. Something is fundamentally wrong with this clinic, so I advise everyone to avoid this veterinarian and this clinic!

He repeatedly kicks horses in the stomach if they don't behave as expected right away. I can't assess his expertise because he attacked my horse before the diagnostic procedure! I strongly advise everyone against going there! Someone like that should have their license revoked!

I can highly recommend Dr. Wagner and Dr. Mlynkova. I've been a client for over 10 years with various horses and have always been very satisfied with all the services and treatments! Two experienced and highly skilled veterinarians. The office staff is incredibly quick and helpful, taking care of every request immediately. Competent, helpful, and friendly! They give an honest assessment of your horse's condition and don't sugarcoat anything, which I find invaluable and trustworthy. Simply top-notch!
