A highly competent veterinarian and animal therapist. I can wholeheartedly recommend her. Her two books, "Worry Kittens" and "The Love-Crazed Beagle and the 45 Nightgowns," written under the name Ulrike Werner, taught me new things. I highly recommend reading them. They are stories from her life with patients she has helped. I recognized some of the cats in her many stories among my own. The stories of her canine patients also seemed familiar. Dr. Schulz is a truly empathetic woman whose experience is vast. Some people think animal therapists are psychologists for animals—who needs that? Absolutely wrong. We humans are often the reason why a cat is unclean or a dog has quirks and tics. You need help and your pet is becoming unmanageable... Dr. Schulz can help! 😁👌

Excellent and a perfect fit. Ideally suited for dogs with severe behavioral problems. However, it's important to understand that both the owner and the dog will be putting in a lot of work. Besides the considerable financial investment, this approach is not comparable to the usual "sit," "down," "stay," and "come" commands. A behavioral specialist/veterinarian is involved. All the details can be found on the corresponding website.

A very competent and friendly veterinarian. We had a behavioral problem with our cat and felt very well cared for by her. I can highly recommend her. :)

I can only shake my head. This therapist was recommended to me as supposedly "Germany's best animal therapist," which I now find utterly ridiculous. Even during our first contact, she claimed my cat was suffering greatly, without ever having seen or met him. When I then asked if I should bring him to the appointment, the answer was: "No, that's not necessary." How can you help an animal you've never even seen or experienced? Since she's based in Brandenburg and it would have taken me over two hours to travel, I asked if an online meeting would be possible. Her answer: Yes, but then it would be more expensive because it "takes longer." Honestly, what's the difference between meeting in person and having an online meeting? I'm telling her exactly the same thing. So why should it cost more? The whole thing just seemed detached and money-driven to me, not at all empathetic or practical. Especially considering that other animal therapists in Berlin—whom she, by the way, all describe as "self-proclaimed"—at least offer to come and observe the animal and its environment. To me, this isn't professional conduct, but pure profiteering. I would strongly advise against using this service.

I was specifically looking for a veterinarian specializing in behavioral therapy and came across Dr. Schulz. From our very first contact, I felt I was in exactly the right place. Dr. Schulz is very friendly, personable, and at the same time extremely professional. She listens attentively, asks targeted and thoughtful questions, and manages to quickly develop a very comprehensive understanding of the situation. I was particularly impressed by the individually tailored treatment plan: clearly structured, logically progressive, and explained in an easy-to-understand way. The individual steps are interconnected and designed to allow for systematic and realistic progress. We were able to implement some initial approaches during the first appointment. The combination of behavioral therapy measures and accompanying medication also seems very well-considered and coordinated. Furthermore, I greatly appreciate that ongoing communication and support are guaranteed over the coming weeks. I have rarely felt so comfortable and confident with a veterinarian. Thank you so much for your support so far – I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Schulz without reservation.
