His calm, competent, and dedicated manner made us feel from the very first moment that our pet was in the best possible hands. Mr. Uhlhaas can tell at a glance what's going well or poorly in the husbandry. He immediately points out which improvements can be made. A godsend for a beginner in terrarium keeping! My first ball python and I feel very well cared for and look forward to continuing to receive expert advice and treatment.

Our hen had suddenly become very withdrawn and fluffed up. Because we were so worried, we called Mr. Uhlhaas first thing in the morning. Despite it being the weekend, we were able to get into the practice just 30 minutes later – that was truly exceptional. We received a warm welcome as soon as we entered the practice. Mr. Uhlhaas patiently explained each step to us, so we immediately felt comfortable and at ease. After the examination, Mr. Uhlhaas diagnosed egg binding. This was promptly treated with a minor procedure. Just eight hours later, our little hen was almost back to her old self and was warmly welcomed back by the other hens. We are incredibly happy to have found Mr. Uhlhaas. He is a veterinarian who practices his profession with great passion and is always ready to help. Mr. Uhlhaas's return to the Rhineland is a real asset – not only for us pet owners, but especially for the animals that require special treatment and cannot be cared for by every veterinary practice or animal hospital. It is difficult to put into words just how grateful we are for saving our little lizard, Pampi. Without a doubt, this is the best, most knowledgeable, and most compassionate exotic animal veterinarian we have ever met. You can truly see how much he cares about his small patients.
