I cannot recommend this clinic. I took my dog to this clinic for an examination because she was having difficulty breathing at times. She was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis and surgery was recommended. The examination alone cost €918.46. The surgery was quoted at €2,500, or €3,500 with an additional CT scan. I explicitly declined the CT scan. On the day of the surgery, my dog was put under anesthesia at 9:00 a.m. I was not given any explanation of how the surgery would be performed. I didn't ask, as my previous Leonberger had the same diagnosis and underwent minimally invasive (endoscopic) surgery at another veterinary practice – she recovered quickly, and the cost was around €900. After moving, I chose this clinic because it was nearby. I was supposed to pick up my dog at 5:00 p.m. After waiting for over an hour, the vet came to me without my dog and informed me that an incision had been made in her neck. I was shocked and speechless at that moment. I was simply told to come back for a bandage change and later to have the stitches removed. Afterward, the veterinary assistants brought my dog to my car—she couldn't stand on her hind legs and was practically dragged. Immediately afterward, I received a bill for €3,117.46. When I inquired about the amount, as I had previously been quoted €2,500, I was simply told that everything was itemized correctly. In the hallway, I heard the vet call out: "She should pay immediately!" I changed the bandage myself, and another veterinarian removed the stitches. Unfortunately, my dog isn't doing much better than before the surgery. For her, this procedure meant primarily suffering, and for us, it cost a total of €4,035.92. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this clinic.
We received an appointment for our dog's hip surgery very quickly. The entire process was smooth and professional. Dr. Morich is an extremely experienced veterinarian in his field, whom we trusted completely from the start. We particularly appreciated his patience with us dog owners, his openness to our questions, and his friendly, calm manner. We felt very well cared for at all times.
My dachshund mix came to me from an animal shelter completely lame. He couldn't walk 500 meters without whimpering in pain. He had a complex corrective osteotomy with Dr. Morich, and it was a tough time, but it was absolutely worth it. The dog has now been pain-free for almost two years and can easily run 8 kilometers through the woods! A thousand thanks to him and to the wonderful team for letting me be present for each of the four anesthetics, right up until he fell asleep.
I took my older dog there, and of course, you always have concerns at that age, especially when anesthesia is involved. We felt very well cared for, and everything was explained very clearly and understandably. I was able to stay with my dog until she was asleep, which I thought was fantastic. Everything went smoothly. A very nice team, and you can tell they truly care about the animals. Thank you.
I was referred to Dr. Morich and his team by my veterinary practice (Schumaiko Small Animal Practice, which I highly recommend). My dog Aneli and I immediately felt very well cared for and are happy to have this competent team on our side. Thank you to everyone, and we are now hoping for a speedy recovery. We are optimistic, as the post-operative instructions were very comprehensive and clearly written.
