Reviews
A fantastic vet. Highly recommended. He's wonderful with our dog. He'd give it 5 stars if he could. However, the price reflects the quality of his work and isn't for those on a tight budget. That's why I'm deducting one star.

After reading the negative reviews, I was worried about my two African Grey parrots. It's difficult to find a suitable avian vet, especially for Grey parrots, but I was pleasantly surprised by how kind and helpful the staff were. The vet arrived, and she was incredibly nice and friendly. She very carefully trimmed the claws and beaks. She was finished with one bird in less than five minutes. I simply can't understand how anyone could feel uncomfortable there; the price was absolutely fair. Thank you so much for the excellent care.
We had been going to this veterinary practice for many years and were completely satisfied, as our dog didn't really have any problems. We just had an annual vaccination and check-up – the usual routine. Unfortunately, in 2025, we had a very bad experience with this practice. I went for a routine vaccination, and the vet noticed that our dog wasn't feeling well. He quickly initiated all sorts of procedures, including an ultrasound and blood tests, without informing us about the costs beforehand. Then came the next shock: the vet made a preliminary diagnosis and said the dog had leukemia! This was a massive burden for the owners and the family, and it made us wonder: how can you assume the worst when you don't even examine the dog (teeth, body, coat) as you're supposed to do? Thankfully, we eventually switched vets, and at the new practice, three moldy and dead teeth were extracted! Something any small child could see. So, no blood cancer involved, I call it a money-making scheme. I'm really disappointed and angry, but also kind of glad I'm not there anymore. That exorbitant bill will be the last one this practice receives from us.
Satisfied! We switched to this practice from a veterinarian in Bad Krozingen. Now we finally know what a truly great veterinarian cares for. Appointments are easy to get, and the prices are reasonable. The staff are professional and friendly. Even when you call for a quick question, everyone is very helpful.
