Hettling Veterinary Clinic operated on my Biewer Yorkshire Terrier's knee (patellar luxation). The surgery and aftercare were perfect. Today, after four weeks, we went for his follow-up check-up. Everything is great! The best veterinary clinic. Competent, friendly, and flexible. Many thanks from Muchacho and family. The other knee is also healing wonderfully, thanks to the professional treatment. We're happy to travel the long distance if necessary.

We've been taking our animals to the Hettling veterinary practice for many years, and we've been taking our Labrador here ever since he came to us as a puppy – our Bolle is now eight years old. We've always been very satisfied; everyone on the team has always been friendly, and we've always felt we were receiving competent care! But it's only when a pet becomes seriously ill that you truly know if you've chosen the right team: unfortunately, our dog became very ill this year, and we had to experience what it feels like to fear for his life... And thankfully, we HAD the right team by our side!!!! Dr. Hettling and the entire team treated and cared for our dog competently and lovingly, and last but not least, they comforted and supported us as a family – we are incredibly grateful!!!

I am very satisfied with the veterinary practice, I have been going to Dr. P. Hettling for many years, 17 years with my beloved cat Toulouse Hasi who unfortunately had to be put down due to kidney failure and now with my new beloved cat Charly, I have taken out cat health insurance for Charly and the costs are billed directly to the practice.

Many thanks to Dr. Hettling's team. Thanks to Dr. Burmeier's quick intervention on Monday and Dr. Hettling's swift action on Tuesday, I don't know how Sunny would be doing today. An X-ray of her abdomen was taken on Monday (they couldn't really tell what it was at that point). Dr. Burmeier gave us contrast dye, and on Tuesday morning, Dr. Hettling discovered (thanks to a new X-ray) that there was something wrong in Sunny's intestine. She then had surgery immediately, meaning her abdomen was opened, and it turned out that Sunny had a small lump of intestinal tissue. Thankfully, they were able to remove it without an incision. Just a small abdominal incision 🫣. Thanks to the quick action of these amazing doctors, Sunny is already doing very, very well again. A huge compliment to the entire veterinary team. I knew Sunny was in excellent hands there. A very heartfelt thank you to this wonderful veterinary practice. The stitches can be removed next Thursday. If I could, I'd give 10 stars... I've never been to a practice that is so impressive both professionally and personally. From the receptionist to the veterinary assistants to every single doctor. At the beginning of 2025, I took my St. Bernard-Cane Corso mix, Balu (1), to a different vet who, despite his unsteady gait, refused to take x-rays, believing, "The dog is still growing; we'll do x-rays when he's fully grown." On the advice of my dog ​​trainer, I then went to Dr. Hettling's practice, and an appointment for x-rays was immediately scheduled. And there it was: severe hip dysplasia. As a result, I was able to start physiotherapy and muscle training early enough that my dog ​​is now completely pain-free. Last week, I had to take my daughter's cat to the practice. Acute kidney failure. My 10-year-old daughter had already said her goodbyes, and it seemed almost hopeless. On Friday, our cat stayed at the clinic, and we fully expected to have to have her euthanized by Monday at the latest, as her test results were so incredibly poor and we had almost no hope. But miraculously, my daughter's cat recovered by Monday and was able to go home, thanks to the entire team's continued efforts. They did so with such dedication and expertise, which was evident in every examination. We will never go to any other veterinary practice. This practice is by far the best in Bielefeld.
