My cat Gatsby was admitted with a urinary blockage. Unfortunately, it quickly became clear that this was the least of our problems. Every day brought further, unforeseen complications, which were always addressed promptly. The entire team went above and beyond, and it's impossible for me to single anyone out, as everyone was truly friendly and competent. Gatsby spent a total of 10 days in the clinic, and for a long time, his condition looked dire. I was kept very well informed about his condition and the next steps at all times. The current costs were also always transparent. Without mentioning any specific figures, I highly recommend taking out insurance. It's reassuring not to have to interrupt important treatment because you don't know how you'll pay the bill later. Finally, thank you again to the entire team.
My French Bulldog had surgery here in 2025 for a torn cruciate ligament. Dr. Stegen was recommended to us by my regular vet in Hamm, so we drove from there to Langenhagen. We received excellent care; all our questions about treatment, surgery, and aftercare were answered thoroughly and with a high level of expertise. The staff was very empathetic, and I felt that my dog was in the best possible hands! She recovered very well from the surgery. There were also no negative comments about the breed, which was very important to me, as I had had some negative experiences in that regard previously. Everyone was incredibly friendly, including the reception staff. 😊🫶 So, a full 5 stars from me and my dog, thank you again!
If it were possible, I'd give them even more stars. The specialist small animal medicine center saved our dog's life. Even though we haven't reached our goal yet, we're receiving excellent care. We can wholeheartedly recommend this clinic and Ms. Buschow; they don't just offer standard treatments, they try everything possible. And while the prices are calculated according to the current veterinary fee schedule, the treatment we've received so far has been worth every penny.
My cat Karl was hospitalized at the clinic due to ketoacidosis (and later FORL). I want to express my gratitude, as I have never met such friendly and dedicated staff. A special thank you goes to Ms. Kostrewa, who performs her work with heart and soul despite seemingly long shifts. Thank you so much for everything. Communication with the clinic was excellent at all times, and I was informed daily about the progress and current costs. Everything was always transparent. I highly recommend the clinic; I can't think of a single negative point.
We were surprised by a bowel perforation in our son Wolfgang Mauzart and were in excellent hands at the center. Since the first surgery required a very long hospital stay and the subsequent care phase was very intensive, we got to know almost the entire team and always felt safe and well cared for. Solutions were always found, and all our questions were answered patiently, calmly, and, if necessary, repeatedly. Wolfgang was always treated gently, patiently, and lovingly. Unfortunately, his gallbladder and liver gave out, and Wolfgang didn't have the strength to wake up after the second surgery on May 18, 2026. The team was by our side until the very end, providing us with the best possible support even on weekends and holidays, and ultimately, they cried with us. We are so grateful that we were able to go through this difficult journey there and that Wolfgang received such excellent care throughout. Thank you so much for everything!
