Since September 2025, Ms. Schmitz has been our tortoises' veterinarian. We keep four Greek tortoises and two African spurred tortoises (who are our "problem children"). We gladly make the roughly 200 km journey. We feel very well cared for! Appointments are quickly arranged via WhatsApp. Communication is always friendly and competent. Questions are answered promptly, and we are grateful for any additional tips to improve our tortoises' care so we can enjoy our little shelled friends for a long time 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢 The costs are absolutely fair! A veterinarian with heart and true passion ❤️‍🔥 I can wholeheartedly recommend Samira Schmitz's mobile reptile veterinary clinic! Even on the weekend, she supported me via WhatsApp, immediately looked at pictures of my axolotl, and offered her help right away. I could have even brought my little Ernie in the very next morning. Sadly, he passed away during the night. 💔 No matter where I had called before, either no one was available or they said, "All animals, but no amphibians." Ms. Schmitz was the first person who immediately took the time to help and truly helped. Such dedication, compassion, and expertise are unfortunately rare these days, especially on a Friday afternoon. With heart and mind! I contacted Dr. Schmitz with an urgent matter. My New Caledonian giant gecko had skin problems. Dr. Schmitz got back to me very quickly, and due to the distance, we arranged a video appointment so I could clearly describe the problem and she could examine the animal. The treatment process and medication administration were incredibly straightforward, and Dr. Schmitz provided me with invaluable advice and support. This gave me peace of mind during the treatment, and my little Goji was back to her old self! Dr. Schmitz also gave me excellent help and treatment tips for other questions I had.
