A very nice and friendly vet, and close to me 😊 We even got an appointment right away 😊 and he was really nice to my little cat. I'd love to come back.
My little cat Garfield received prompt and expert treatment, and I was given excellent advice. He's a small Croatian cat and had brought home a lot of mites. We never had to wait; Dr. Riegelnegg is funny and easy to get along with.
It's absolutely not advisable to go to him. Our cat hadn't eaten anything for two days and was just vomiting when we went to see him. He initially suggested we wait, give her globules, and come back two days later. After two more days of no improvement, instead of finally doing something, he just did practically nothing and kept putting us off, saying we should come back in four days. After two more days, she was already so ill that even I could see she probably wouldn't even be alive by Friday, so I went back to him, and then he finally told us to go to Dr. Kucher's veterinary practice, which we did immediately. They were truly shocked by her condition. Completely dehydrated, she has an illness plus a very severe pancreatitis, and she's in such a bad state, so it's impossible to say if she'll even make it. I think it's an absolute disgrace how he just let our obviously suffering cat die, did nothing, said nothing, and then demanded money for it. He didn't take her temperature, and he didn't give her any medication or antibiotics, even though the symptoms were clear. He didn't even give her painkillers. At the doctor's office, they said our cat was probably in extreme pain, too, and that leaves us even more stunned. We just hope she survives and will never go near him with our cats again. EDIT: She had to be put down today. Her next appointment with him was supposed to be today. If something had been done earlier, the condition would never have been so serious.
Although the vet isn't a reptile specialist and was honest about that, he still took care of our lizards. He provided competent and friendly advice, addressed all our questions, and answered them very well. We'll definitely be back as soon as we get another furry pet 😊
Absolutely not recommended! I bought a small puppy, and two days later he started acting strangely. He wouldn't eat anything and slept all the time (although for the first two days he was super active and had a good appetite). We went to see Mr. Riegelnegg, and that was a huge mistake! During the examination, he was on the phone with someone and barely communicated with me. He didn't do any blood tests or make any diagnoses. He just advised me to buy different food. The next day, the dog was worse; it turned out he had parvovirus and died that evening! If the vet had done the test earlier, my puppy would have been alive.
