I've had repeated bad experiences with the Siefke veterinary practice in Zirkow over a long period, but the most recent emergency call took the cake. My dog ​​had severe stomach pains in the evening. All I needed was clear information on which of two medications I could give him. The employee on the phone seemed annoyed and unfriendly from the start. When I explained that I'd heard one of the medications could actually worsen the pain, I received a curt "Then don't give it to him." Being dismissed like that when you're genuinely worried about your pet is, in my opinion, completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Especially during an emergency call, I expect at least a minimum of helpfulness and a friendly tone. Instead, I felt rejected and abandoned. After several similar experiences, it's clear to me: I cannot recommend this practice—quite the opposite. I'm truly angry and deeply disappointed.

Our dog fell ill while on vacation. We felt very well looked after at Dr. Siefke's practice. Good: We were allowed to wait even without making an appointment. Appointments have priority (except for emergencies), resulting in short waiting times. Particularly positive: The doctor first greets our dog at eye level, building rapport and trust before asking about the reason for the visit. Even during unpleasant examinations like taking the dog's temperature, positioning him for X-rays, or treatments like injections, he makes it a point to give the dog a positive feeling when saying goodbye – which usually works well with treats – if not in the treatment room, then again at the counter. He exudes calmness, even when it's busy, and takes time for both animals and people. Everything was explained to us in great detail. Thanks to the in-house X-ray machine, this is also possible on-site, as is an ultrasound, and is performed immediately if necessary for diagnosis. The staff are also very kind to people and animals. We felt that we and our dog were in good, professional and humane hands. A very nice, modern practice with ample parking.
