Kleintierpraxis am Hellweg (reine Terminsprechstunde!)

I called ahead, but no one answered the phone. Since I urgently needed help for my small animal, I drove there anyway, a 34 km one-way trip, only to end up with such behavior. It was my first visit there, and I couldn't have known that the doctor was in the middle of surgery; after all, it doesn't say so on the website, on the door, or on his forehead! After ringing the bell twice, the doctor opened the door, said simply, "I'm in the middle of surgery," and immediately closed it again. I've truly never experienced anything like that. Very helpful and courteous? Absolutely not! After this experience, I definitely cannot and will not recommend this practice to anyone.

We've been taking our dogs to Dr. Schlömer's small animal practice on Hellweg for over 10 years now, and we couldn't wish for a better veterinarian. He's honest, straightforward, and always competent. We really appreciate that. Both of our dogs had successful surgeries here, and thanks to his excellent work, we were able to enjoy many more precious years together. Appointments are always available quickly, the entire team is friendly and competent, and every visit includes a pleasant, open conversation. Even in difficult times, we always felt well cared for and received honest advice. We simply cannot understand the negative reviews. We prefer honesty to empty promises. We will continue to come here and are grateful to have found such a reliable and dedicated veterinarian.

When my dog ​​crossed the Rainbow Bridge, he was very compassionate and gave us the time to say goodbye in peace. He's always there for his regular patients – even in emergencies. For me, there's no better vet. I can wholeheartedly recommend him.
