We had our Yorkshire Terrier spayed the day before yesterday, it looks good... but the service was abysmal. We were dismissed and treated like idiots. When we arrived to pick her up, she snapped at us, saying she had to squeeze us in and we should have called ahead... even though she was the one who scheduled the appointment! The "assistant," the one with glasses and a ponytail, is another story altogether. She's completely oblivious to the concept of a doorknob, stomping around the waiting room about ten times and slamming the door so hard each time that all the animals present jumped! Thanks for that! Maybe she should find another job? They're hiring construction workers... Never again! We'd rather take our money elsewhere; it was over €900, after all. We'll have the aftercare and stitch removal done elsewhere.
Excellent practice, highly recommended. Our cat was spayed and microchipped today. Everything went smoothly, she was very well cared for, and she came through the procedure perfectly. Very competent veterinarians and a friendly team. I'm so glad our cat goes to such a good practice.
A heartfelt recommendation! 🐶 Even though the practice was fully booked, they were able to see us the same day with our Maltese/Miniature Poodle. His anal glands were severely inflamed and already bleeding – we were really worried. After less than five minutes of waiting, we were seen. The veterinarian was incredibly competent, calm, and totally professional, yet also kind and empathetic. You can immediately tell that the animals' well-being is their top priority. We are incredibly grateful for the quick help and feel we are in excellent hands. We wholeheartedly recommend this practice! 🐶✨
It used to be a very good and fantastic practice. For a while, we felt very comfortable with the team. Unfortunately, these days, it feels like everything is moving too fast and no one listens. You get the feeling of being stupid. It's a shame, really. The potential is there. But that's what happens when health becomes just a product. And unfortunately, that's not just the case here.
Unfortunately, I've had very bad experiences with this small animal practice in Troisdorf. On several occasions, it was impossible to get a cost estimate beforehand – instead, I always had to come in person, and the prices varied each time. That's not what I call transparency and clear communication. During my first visit, my 8-year-old, unneutered male dog's prostate was examined. They said it was "not entirely normal." Despite this, we were sent home with antibiotics because the blood in his urine was interpreted as a possible bladder infection. No further diagnostic tests were ordered. The medication caused my dog severe gastrointestinal problems. I then went back to the same practice because his condition had significantly worsened. However, no further examinations were performed there – instead, he was simply given a stomach protector, and they told us to "just wait and see." Wait and see what? Wait for everything to resolve itself? Or wait for it to end in emergency surgery? Only when I finally went to another veterinary practice was a cost estimate provided immediately, a thorough examination was conducted, and an X-ray was taken. There, it was determined right away that the prostate was the actual problem. I am very disappointed that a consistent diagnosis wasn't made early on. Instead of actively searching for the cause, I felt like I was constantly being sent home with medication. The animal's well-being wasn't my priority. Unfortunately, you only notice the difference when you're dealing with a practice that operates transparently and takes diagnostics seriously.
