Reviews
A fantastic practice with incredibly empathetic staff (towards both animals and people). Despite appointments, they prioritize urgent cases if necessary. Even the "very last" vet visit is handled respectfully for both the animal and its owner. My thanks to the entire team.
I used to live in the List district and was a patient of Dr. Pfohl there, and I'm so glad this practice is also part of the List office. Such wonderful doctors and assistants! Everyone is so kind, caring, and highly competent. I have complete confidence in the practice. Thank you for your love of animals and your understanding of the owners of all the little and big furry friends.
If I could, I'd give zero stars. Three times within one week, always the same examination, and each time they want to charge 200-300 euros. And they didn't even give the dog pain medication. They supposedly need another examination. It's a complete rip-off. Never again.
I was quoted approximately €350 for the examination of my 17-year-old cat. When I went to pick her up, the price suddenly jumped to €750. When I refused this more than doubled amount, the owner verbally abused me on the phone in a disrespectful tone and insisted I pay the full amount! In the end, I had to pay for the anesthesia and x-ray, but received neither the promised x-ray nor the medication. For my sick cat, this meant a stressful procedure with no result. And then to have to take the medication away from her... Words fail me. I'm left with the impression that this isn't a practice with a heart for animals, but rather one that's solely focused on profit.
Unfortunately, we're always asked if we shouldn't go to the practice in Hanover (the center of the practice). The vets are constantly changing, too. Plus, they don't know how to handle cats. I don't know how they are with dogs. We almost always have to give our dog medication to calm her down because the vets are afraid. The organization is also terrible. We call to ask for an appointment, and when we get there, there's usually maybe one available.
