High praise for an exceptional team > I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Baldauf's veterinary practice. Rarely have I felt so taken seriously, understood, and cared for as I did here with my cat Charly. Even on the phone, I was listened to very attentively. When I described my problem, veterinary assistant Jessica immediately recognized that we shouldn't wait any longer. Thanks to her assessment and willingness to help, I was able to bring Charly to the practice on short notice and without a scheduled appointment – something that gave me a great deal of peace of mind in this situation. Dr. Baldauf impresses with her high level of expertise, calm demeanor, and empathy. She took plenty of time, examined me very thoroughly, and explained everything clearly. You immediately sense that this isn't just a routine procedure, but that the animal's well-being is truly the focus and is treated with both heart and mind. Even at the practice itself, Charly was treated with exceptional care and affection. Jessica was very calm, attentive, and warm with him, calming him, petting him, and making him feel secure – something animals sense immediately. Together, Dr. Baldauf and Jessica make a wonderful team. It's clear that their focus isn't on money or quantity, but on genuine love, respect, and responsibility for animals. This treatment was exactly what my sensitive cat, Charly, needed. I am very grateful for this experience and wish Dr. Baldauf and Jessica a very happy and restful Christmas.

I recently visited the small animal practice and am completely satisfied. I received a friendly welcome upon entering the practice and immediately felt well cared for. The entire team was very professional and empathetic. I would particularly like to highlight the thorough consultation with the veterinarian. My questions were answered patiently, and I received valuable advice. The examination itself was thorough, and my pet felt in good hands. I am very grateful for the excellent care and will definitely recommend this practice. Thank you to the entire team!

My cat Kessy suffered from ear cancer for three years. Her pain became increasingly severe, so with heavy hearts, we decided to have her euthanized. Since she always hated car rides, I wanted to spare her the stress on her last day and looked for a veterinarian within walking distance, which is how I found this practice. I called on August 12th to schedule an appointment for August 21st. Even then, I was told it was unclear whether there would be space available in the morgue by then. This meant the morgue was already full on August 12th. When I asked to be informed in time so I could make the necessary arrangements, I was simply told to call back the day before. As a solution, I was told that if necessary, I could take Kessy's body to the animal shelter myself—something I truly couldn't imagine doing on her last day. I called on August 12th to schedule an appointment for August 21st. Since I will be leaving Magdeburg in a few years, burying her here or keeping her ashes here was not an option for me. I wanted the veterinary practice to handle the disposal and was, of course, prepared to pay the fees. It is all the more incomprehensible to me that it was impossible to empty the refrigerated container for so many days (from the 12th to the 21st). The practice is only open for two hours a day, but I find it very disappointing that no one took care of it during or after that time. This experience, which was already very difficult for me, was made unnecessarily worse by the practice's behavior. So much stress really shouldn't have been necessary. On the day itself, the staff were friendly, I want to emphasize that, and I'm giving one star for the fact that we were even able to get an appointment. The second star is for the respectful treatment Kessy received on the day she was euthanized. But unfortunately, I can't give any more than that.
