An absolute disaster! We had an urgent emergency with our dog on Friday evening. According to the internet, this veterinary practice was on call. After trying to reach them countless times by phone and receiving no answer, we drove there directly. When we arrived, we found the doors locked. No lights, no one there. Instead, there was only a sign on the door advertising a premium-rate phone number (€1.99 per minute). Despite multiple calls, no one answered that phone either. This is simply unacceptable for a supposed emergency service. Especially in a real emergency, every minute counts. You rely on a practice offering emergency services being reachable. Instead, we were completely let down. While our dog desperately needed veterinary care, we wasted valuable time. Luckily, we then drove to Oschersleben. There, someone was immediately available, we received prompt treatment, and our dog was given excellent care. Our conclusion: We would never rely on this practice's advertised emergency service again. Anyone needing urgent help for their pet in a life-threatening situation should look for an alternative immediately. In our view, an emergency service where neither the practice nor the listed emergency number can be reached does not fulfill its purpose.
