I arrived at the vet's office with my 16-week-old dog about an hour after he ingested what I suspect was a poisonous mushroom. He was already showing clear signs of poisoning, including excessive salivation, dilated pupils, and watery diarrhea. For me, it was an acute emergency. Upon arrival, I immediately explained the situation. Despite this, I was first asked to wait and fill out a questionnaire. Before anyone even examined the dog, I was approached about the cost, including the triple fee, and asked if I could afford to treat my 16-week-old dog. In this situation, I found this very inappropriate and insensitive. What was particularly irritating was that another patient was to be treated first, even though our dog was clearly exhibiting severe symptoms of poisoning. Yes, this patient had arrived before me, but a decision still needs to be made as to which situation was more urgent. Only after other people present pointed out that our dog should be treated first was he finally seen. I would like to emphasize, however, that the subsequent treatment was professionally helpful and likely saved my dog's life. I am grateful for that. Nevertheless, I am left with the impression that the handling of this obvious emergency should have been much more empathetic and swift. While I am grateful for the professional assistance, the experience was very disappointing on a personal level.

She always takes ample time, explains everything clearly, and handles the animals with incredible care. My pet felt comfortable with her from the very beginning, which is especially important to me. I also have complete confidence in her expertise – she comes across as very competent and works meticulously and conscientiously. I've been going to Norma Weiß's veterinary practice at Stern for about six years and am very satisfied. They don't pressure you into anything; instead, they clearly explain all the treatments and their advantages and disadvantages. The team is very empathetic and handles the animals with love. My dog ​​has always received excellent care there. The online appointment booking system works perfectly, and there's parking right on site. They take ample time for each animal – exactly the kind of time I want for my pet and my questions. Highly recommended!
