Reviews
My dog received excellent care on Christmas Day for a heavily bleeding wound. Initially, I was a bit worried when they mentioned "general anesthesia, x-rays, surgery," etc. However, when I asked for basic wound care along with medication, and explained that I wanted to discuss further steps with my regular vet after Christmas, the dog was fitted with a very good pressure bandage, and everything went smoothly and effectively (although, of course, it was expensive due to the holiday). A few days later, my vet examined the wound, and since the bandage was working well and the medication had been effective, he recommended simply letting it heal on its own – which worked perfectly.
We had an emergency on the holiday, and although we're not regular patients, we received quick and competent help. Our cat had a gaping wound after a fight; it was quickly stapled, and everything was fine. 😌
A complete disappointment, both personally and professionally. My dog was brought in with acute respiratory distress. After a CT scan, Dr. Diel made the premature and horrific diagnosis that it was 95% likely to be a malignant tumor in the nose. Because the right side of the nose was completely blocked, he couldn't access it with a rhinoscopy and claimed there was nothing that could be done. He didn't recommend any further treatment; he only wanted to provide palliative care. Thanks to the Duisburg Kaiserberg Veterinary Clinic, my dog finally received the right treatment: The specialists simply accessed the nasal passages with a rhinoscopy, successfully removed the tissue, and the biopsy proved: It was NOT a malignant tumor! My dog is doing well again today. The bill from Dr. Diel was also significantly higher than at the Kaiserberg Veterinary Clinic. Absolutely not recommended! Never again!!! I would have had to have my dog euthanized if I hadn't sought a second opinion!
Five stars! We and our dog Daisy were and are very well looked after there. Highly recommended.
