Dr. med. vet. Juliane Jaeger

I've been taking my furry friends to Dr. Jaeger for years, and before that, I took other dogs and cats. Her loving and competent handling of them never ceases to impress me. And they've all always reacted positively to her. I would entrust my beloved pets to her without hesitation.

I can highly recommend Dr. Jäger's small animal veterinary practice. Everyone is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful to the animals and their owners. Dr. Jäger's expertise is broad, ranging from conventional veterinary medicine and homeopathy to bioresonance.

I've been taking my dog ​​to this practice for four years now – and I've been completely satisfied from the very beginning. The reception is always warm, understanding, and friendly; you immediately feel well cared for. I'd especially like to highlight Dr. Jäger's empathy: With great patience, foresight, and impressive skills, she handles not only the "classic" cases but also more complex situations – like my dog's babesiosis, which wasn't a typical case. Her calm, clear manner instills confidence – and the feeling of being truly seen and taken seriously. I'm very grateful for this care and wholeheartedly recommend this practice with 5 stars+!

It's a shame that Dr. Jäger no longer practices often, or even at all, due to health reasons. Our dog was initially treated by her, and then, for various reasons, her daughter and several substitute vets took over. Even though I described the symptoms in detail and even showed a video of the dog having difficulty breathing and coughing a lot, the animal wasn't even x-rayed. They only prescribed painkillers and antibiotics for two months. I even took the dog on vacation with me, hoping his breathing would improve, but unfortunately, it didn't. We returned on Sunday and went to a different vet on Monday. There, the dog was x-rayed immediately, and, shockingly, it was discovered that he had terminal cancer. Sadly, we had to have him euthanized because the cancer was no longer treatable. Unfortunately, I have to say that I've found a new vet for my second dog. I feel my pet is no longer in good hands or receiving adequate care at Dr. Jäger's practice.

In hindsight, I think we shouldn't have taken our cats there. We chose that practice because our middle pet and all the kittens were there for their first vaccinations and a checkup. So we went there for the second part of the vaccination series (basic immunization). The older vet didn't even know why we were there (despite having an appointment). Well, the vaccination and checkup felt like she was treating livestock. A few months later, I made an appointment for spaying at 8 a.m. We arrived, and the younger vet didn't even know she had two spayings to do (despite the appointment!). We were told to pick up the cats at 3 p.m. with the assurance that they would be completely fine by then! When we came to pick them up, the cats were out of it, completely under the influence of anesthesia. They were lying in their own vomit and urine. There was a syringe cap lying next to one of the cats (inside the carrier)! We paid, but... I noticed in the car that one of the cats had the chills all over! The cats weren't really themselves until late that night and kept vomiting (despite not having eaten for 24 hours). So, after supposedly 7 hours after the anesthesia, such a physical condition isn't normal, unless they weren't operated on at 8 as agreed, but were squeezed in later between other appointments. Now, one of them later had complications with scar healing. We were still at a clinic. The vet there was shocked that we hadn't even received a surgical gown after the spaying (because she didn't have one). So, I definitely won't be going there again; my cats aren't animals! And the price isn't justified.
